The Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is an action-adventure video game based on the Transformers franchise. Players take control of both Autobots and Decepticons such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream and more as they battle for the ultimate source of power: the Dark Spark!

The game is set in the same universe as the War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron games, and features a new story with characters from these games as well as new ones. The game also features a four player co-operative campaign, and an all-new multiplayer mode with 8 players at once.

In the single player campaign, players choose either Autobot or Decepticon characters to fight their way through the game's levels. The story follows the Autobots and Decepticons as they battle to gain control of the Dark Spark and prevent the ultimate evil from emerging. Along the way, players will battle on land, in air, and at sea in order to protect or control the mysterious relic.

The game features a number of unique features specific to the Playstation 4 version of the game. In the single player campaign, players can use the DualShock 4 controller to control their characters and activate special attacks and abilities with simple, fluid motions. Additionally, there are special 'equipable weapon upgrades' to assist your characters in battle as they progress through the game.

In the four-player co-operative campaign, players team up to battle their way through the game, engaging in intense, tactical warfare as they attempt to take down massive enemy forces both old and new. The all-new 8-player multiplayer mode allows for massive scale battles, as up to 8 players can join together in massive battles that will spread the chaos across Cybertron.

The game also features the exclusive Energon Power Up pack, which includes the weapons of previous Transformers games such as Ratchet's War Amulet and Jazz's Gunner Blaster. Additionally, players will also receive a special bonus character unlock for use in the online modes.
