PS4 Sonic Mania is the latest installment in Sega's long-running Sonic the Hedgehog series. Developed by Headcannon and Christian Whitehead, Sonic Mania revisits classic Sega Genesis games and introduces new elements to the classic Sonic experience. The game features remixed versions of classic Genesis games such as Sonic Hedgehog, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, and Sonic & Knuckles. Each zone contains two Acts and a Bonus Stage, and there are a variety of weird bosses to defeat. In terms of graphics, Sonic Mania has a modernized take on the classic 16-bit look, utilizing a modern widescreen display in addition to classic modes like NTSC.
