A treat for racing enthusiasts, the PlayStation 4 exclusive spin-off of the famed DiRT franchise - DiRT 4 - is an intensely challenging, yet indulgently rewarding off-road rally experience. Developed by Codemasters, DiRT 4 provides an immense degree of dynamic off-road racing, and an authentic, intense depiction of the world of rally motorsport.

DiRT 4 centres upon point-to-point rally stage racing, with each run consisting of five stages to tackle as part of an overall rally - the total track distance exceeding over 25km in most cases. All of the featured locations are based on real-world environments, and offer the most life-like rally racing experience possible. DiRT 4 showcases the iconic and enthralling characteristics of the rocky hills of Wales, the serene, ambient backroads of Michigan, the hair-raising atmosphere of Sweden, and the high-altitude conditions of V-Rally locations in Monte Carlo and Spain. The authenticity of the races is further emphasised through realistic car and driver physics, and an unforgiving system of track progression - every crash, done deal, and momentary lapse of skill being immediately punished.

Equally compelling for the spectator and the driver, DiRT 4 offers a wealth of customisation and car-tuning options. Players can design and build racecars from more than 400 cars, thanks to the new Your Car Database feature, which allows for both accurate recreate iconic previous-gen rally cars and the ability to invent all-new custom iterations. Building and customising cars is not limited to aesthetics, either; tyre pressures, wing angles, ride heights, and suspension settings are all independently adjustable - all of which contributes to the intense immersion and near-indestructible level of control that DiRT 4 provides.

DiRT 4 also provides players a huge variety of rewarding single and multiplayer experiences. Within the singleplayer game mode's, players are invited to partake in the richly detailed single player 'Career' mode, which features a plethora of challenges and tournaments to progress through. There are three divisions to choose from (the joyrides, the challenge, and the 'extreme' tier), with each division offering a more difficult set of tournaments and events to compete in. With championship trophies, career progression and excellent racing to be experienced within the game's career mode, DiRT 4 is a must for the dedicated rally fan.

Likewise, DiRT 4 is supported by an array of nifty online multiplayer features and tournaments. Players can join forces with up to 8 players from around the world in various tournaments and events, as well as events in the asynchronous 'Joyride' mode.
