Assassin's Creed Valhalla is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. Set in 873 AD medieval England, it is the twelfth major installment in the Assassin's Creed series and the sequel to the 2018 game Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Players take on the role of Eivor, a fierce Viking raider and leader of a Viking clan. Along with a number of allies, Eivor travel across England to raid and settle regions to gain power and create a strong political foundation. They find themselves embroiled in a conflict between the nations of the Anglo-Saxons and Norse as they explore the vast open world.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla's gameplay sees players engaging in both turn-based and real-time combat across a variety of landscapes. Players will be able to customize Eivor with a range of different weapons and armor sets. Eivor can also find or create powerful items known as Ligescore, which allow them to upgrade their skills. Players will get to explore various new locations in England such as underground hotspots, dark forests and hidden caves, as well as engaging in Viking raids, building settlements and creating powerful alliances.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla features the return of the deep and engaging narrative experience found in other entries in the series. The game will focus on Norse mythology and seek to tell a story about the clash between the world of the Vikings and England. The game will also feature a robust character customization system that will allow players to shape their own version of Eivor.

The game is slated for release on November 17, 2020, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Microsoft Windows, and Amazon Luna. An enhanced next-gen version will be available for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
